I think this was a great story and really enjoyed it. It is filled with mysterious adventures and a female heroine that breaks the mold of being a helpless damsel in distress. THANK YOU.Even though Zoey is 14 she showed bravery and courage in a world that is being corrupted by traitors and liars. I will enjoy sharing this story with my little six year old just because it tells a story of a girl that even when the odds are against her, she prevails with truth and a humbled attitude.

A good book. It starts with an orphan girl and moves rapidly into the development plotline which he becomes part of an organization fighting mystics. The mystic's are a variety of nonhumans from a different dimension.
The store is formed around two opposing sides; naturally one good and one evil and maintains a reasonable pace and a good level of excitement. This may not measure up in terms of total quality but if you like Harry Potter you'll probably like this
This book was awesome. You have action, monsters, leprechauns, fairies, good guys and bad guys. The main character and her friends that are now her extended family are bonded for the good of all kind. I really enjoyed this book and the author is witty with dialog. She knows how to write a great story. High Fives.
I love reading books about young people reaching for their ultimate potential. Zoey, Simon, and Tristan do just that. Although the adults dont believe a lot of what they report, the truth that the three know,spurs them on to better Agents.
Any age group would enjoy this book.

Loved the book and I'm excited to read more in the series. This is another of the don't know who my parents are... orphan turns out to be..... trying to answer that in the book while others seem to know the answer and what hidden talents await. - teen adventure...
The plot was better than expected, the details were magical, and the romance was simmering. There was only 2 things I had a problem with Zoey and Simon. Zoey just couldn't get with the program and she was just being really annoying and stupid. I get that this is a new world but I couldn't help wanting to punch her 85% of the story. Then Simon never took anything seriously. He had the wrong kind of humor a lot of the time. There was no character development there.
Though there were several typos and other proofing errors, i enjoyed the story. i felt the author was holding back a bit in the "creativity" field. There were several places in the story that seemed to have been cut short in description and time. The story line was unique and original and i loved the supernatural, magical mystery of it all.
I did purchase book 2,and have it on the "next to read" list. I feel this one deserves another go at 5 stars.
